Didn't win the contest. They said I did really good and it was close though. I had great reaction from the crowd when it was my turn too. I had fun nonetheless, and it was a good practice for the three shows next week. I'll post a pic when they're released.

EDIT: Figured out the hiccup with my diet, I weighed my meat cooked rather than raw...

The pictures from the modeling contest have not been released yet but, in the meantime, I have done my first show on Tuesday! I had a blast.

My diet is not so perfect this week, but I'm looking forward to the Posing Clinic on Saturday afternoon. The organizers of the event are putting it on so it should be really good information; I can't wait.

I had a blast at the posing worskhop tonight put on by NPAA, the federation I'll compete with in May. I'm so glad I chose this federation for three main reason: first, the trunks are euro-style and boardshorts are banned. Second, the mandatory poses are open; I can do classic physique poses if I want which is amazing. Last, I will be competing against natural guys. One of the posing coach said I might even be too big for Men's Physique and I should do bodybuilding, but I'll definitely do Men's Physique.

Motivation level over 9000!! Time to step up the diet, cardio, and posing.

Miscounted my weeks, I'm actually 7 weeks out. I'll have to shorten my deload before my last meso to ensure.
Shorter deload?? I'm in!

I'm pretty confident in my size and conditioning now. I can easily stick to the plan and lean out a bit before the show.
Biggest thing will be the posing. For example, on this IG pic, bringing my left shoulder forward would have made me look bigger.
It's the small details like this I want to work on to make sure I have everything: Size, Conditioning, Stage Presence, and a Killer Routine.

Trying to incorporate some of Ryan Terry's poses in my routine; I like his style because it flows nicely and it's solid but natural. A good mix of transitions and strong poses.

I was a bit reluctant on training legs today as my left knee has been bothering me all week but everything went well. There's nothing two scoops of pre-workout can't fix!

Finished my first final exam tonight. I'm officially two weeks out from getting my Bachelor Degree. I can't fucking wait.

I found out about Jordan Peterson last night and holy shit, I like how this guy thinks:

Totally missing kickboxing since I watched Alves fight. My muay-thai coach reached out the same to ask me to go train. I'll definitely go back after I'm done school, they opened a UFC Gym close by and that's where my sparring partners train now.

Performed my Capstone Project Presentation yesterday, and we absolutely killed it. Everybody was impressed, and the program chair asked us to present in front of the Vice-Dean to showcase what this program can do. It feels good to have a such a positive ending after spending 8 months working on this big project.

Prep is going good as well; I'm starting to see veins everywhere, pec striations, and the Christmas Tree is looking pretty good as well

I don't always go to the gym during a playoff game, but when I do, it's fucking empty and I love it.

I only have one CD in my car, which I listen to whenever my phone is dead or there's nothing on the radio. It's Veiled Hideousness by Blinded by Faith. It's really good, and I have been a fan for a long time. Just found out they're separating after 20 years. This is one of their best song:
