We have now seen that McGregor VS MayWeather cracked 500 million total take in pay per view and ticket sales. Could UFC host a crossover event with Mayweather promotions in a venue like Cowboys Stadium with tickets that are more affordable? I mean what 20,000 for seats at the Mayweather VS McGregor match? They did not sell out the venue because most of the MMA fans could not see themselves spending 5,000 dollars for lower level seating. Could a nearly 100,000 seat venue with floor seating prices in the 1,000 dollar range and cheapest seats around 100 each could that sell? You could possibly sellout the Cowboys stadium with the hype of having boxers fighting MMA fighters in Boxing or MMA style matches? Just wondering where do you go to plan then next big crossover event and who would you use for such an event.

They won't be able to approach those numbers again. The curiosity factor is gone.

I don't think Texas allows the injections Mayweather needs for his hands.

Mayweather won't ever fight under MMA rules. It's not even worth the money in my opinion, the man is already rich.

I disagree. I think that if it went the other direction and Mayweather fought Conor in MMA, it would absolutely CRUSH the numbers they did in their boxing match. I wouldn't be shocked to see it do 50 percent more - the whole world would be curious.

Mayweather won't do it, of course. He doesn't want his last fight to be an image of him getting obliterated. Which is totally understandable - he's one of the greatest boxers ever and it makes little sense for him to risk getting seriously hurt in an MMA fight. I think the only reason he took the Conor fight was because he felt there was so little risk in it. No disrespect to him in that BTW - Mayweather was a great fighter.

Yes, that would have some curiosity factor. I was referring to another boxing fight.
