There's a good chance that this loss will become a no contest before all is said and done.
 
Anybody that thinks a guy as competitively driven as DC would be happy about hearing his biggest rival was cheating when he ko'd him, and will likely catch a 4 year suspension as a result, doesn't remember how old DC is or how much he wanted to beat Jones.


Jones being out for 4 years makes it impossible for DC to EVER prove he can beat Jones, and that is not something he'd be giddy about.
 
lol at anyone thinking Cormier will be happy about a holding a belt again knowing he got his ass kicked by Jones, even if he was on roids.

This is actually terrible news for him. The guy he wants to beat the most is probably getting a long suspension.

He will probably retire with one loss and one NC to his fiercest rival he can never avenge.

I'm sure it takes some of the sting away. Maybe he can collect Jon's bonus money

It maybe on paper but it still didn't change the fact that he got finished at a live event. Mentally, Cormier will not be the same all thanks to Jones cheating. It hurt Cormier's record and pride from getting finished first time in the octagon in front of a big crowd
 
So.... Now Jones is out for a long time, Volkan vs Gus in November/December makes sense. Winner of that fight faces Cormier for the title.

He's beaten everyone except a cheater. What gives? Are you the kind of guy who wishes he could compete in the special Olympics so you can "show all those retards they're really not that special?"

He's never lost to a clean fighter. Cormier shouldn't just be the LHW champ, he should be considered p4p no1 as well.

Because Jones win over him isn't legitimate,
DC is champ again,
Fight would be a NC,
Any win bonus would be surrendered and given to DC,
Bragging rights that DC only loses to Jones is tainted by Jones' steroids use

More of every reasons DC is happy
