I like this match up
Damn, hell of a fight. Good matchmaking.
I got my boy Pettis.
Good fight, sensible match making.
I'm glad it's a 5 rounder, I can see this fight needing the extra rounds. Hard to call, I can see Poirier's dirty boxing, clinch, and scrambling posing Pettis alot of issues. On the other hand Poirier's been chewed up by kicks before and caught on the ground.
It's good that neither is killing themselves to make FW anymore.
I guess I'll go with Poirier dec.
Look for Porier to implement his wrestling like he did with Duffy.
If Pettis can keep it standing he'll win by a wide margin but if Dustin can instill the fear of the td in him he wins a dec
that is an exciting fight - very winnable for pettis, in my opinion - i want him to get back to form, am a big fan of his
Love this fight. Should be very exciting. Both guys will bang and have legit ground skills.
WEC NEVER DIE
Can Pettis ever get back to his championship form? The guy seemed impossible to hurt before fighting RDA.
Physically, I don't see why it wouldn't be possible; people have bounced back from worse beatings. I gather some kind of mental block has straitjacketed him since and I really don't know what it takes to get over that.
Great fight, but Poirier got screwed out of a win versus Eddie and should be fighting someone ranked a bit higher.
We'll never know, but to me he looked badly rocked and possibly on his way out before the knees landed.
Edit: You probably meant DQ win, and in that case I agree.
That Norfolk card has a 95% chance of being the best of the year.
I'm hoping Pettis wins, but this is an even money fight in my book
Duffy is bigger than Pettis too
I meant the DQ, so your edit is correct.
Ummmm, 217 exists.
That makes up 4 of the other 5%.
He "wont be denied"? Is it his birthday?
this is for a potential shot at the big piece of cheese ..
not gonna pick .. Can't wait to see it
