Search can't seem to find any of the old threads about various podcasts so let's have a new one for them all!

Kakutougi started a new one so here's ep1 of that.

Other podcasts, post more if you know of any.

K1Anoop/kickboxingplanet podcast

The Striking Corner podcast

Last time I tried to get into these I failed because they are usually a much less detailed version of the discussions we have on this forum. I was thinking it would be cool if some of us did a "fight companion" style podcast while watching a kickboxing card. The only problem is there usually isnt a legal stream so we get stuck with shitty lag streams that would probably ruin it.

Only one I've listened to before is Steven Wright. I assume the so-called Muay Thai podcasts are pretty crappy. Think I once got into a bit of a squabble on Twitter with the Striking Corner person. Said Sergio Wielzen and Ognjen Topic were two of the best in the world or something like that.

Most of these Muay Thai podcasts and Muay Thai sites just talk about Lion Fight and Kevin Ross, but will advertise as being some "all things" spot for Muay Thai news. It's like saying you're the all things basketball source, but you mostly talk about the Colombian league or whatever, and don't bother with the NBA.

Have you ever considered hosting a podcast, Coca? You could talk exclusively about Thailand MT, with perhaps the addition of a segment devoted to dumb things Joe Rogan or other noobs say.

Stevens podcast is the only one I can stick with. He used to post on the old K-1 FANS forum back in the day. Pretty solid and he does talk about stadium fights when he gets a chance to keep up. Even had Rob on.

I feel like he makes some stuff up and doesn't watch the fights properly from his reviews. Also when he does not know what to say he just says kickboxing combination flow, consistent offecnce etc.

I still listen to him though

amazing podcast, keep going on producing this kind of stuff with high quality!!!!

I tried giving it a shot a few years ago and it didn't turn out too well. I can't just sit there by myself and talk about stuff. Not a skill I have.

I wish warman would ease up on his obvious kickboxing/K1 style bias.

He's always talking about "combination flow" and "throwing heat" like it's the only way to win fights.

I do appreciate his occasional FTR coverage, though. D

If we contribute enough content to this thread I vote that it get stickied. The MT/KB forum has been dead as of late.

Can't right now, but will.
