Alex Reyes is 12-2 with all 12 wins coming by stoppage. 8 knockouts and 4 subs.
Last fight: August 2015
Surely they must be joking.
0 - 1 record?
They couldn't find a better opponent to step up? COWBOY offered, for fux sake.
All things considered, I guess Reyes is a decent replacement. Very little chance of him beating Perry.
He has not fought in two years and is on two days notice. He will be undersized, and at 30 years old, not much of a long term prospect for LW.
Assuming its this guy....http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Alex-Reyes-24199
I thought they'd get at least someone in the UFC, or you know....relevant in any way.
Its like they went to middle level MMA gym and said "raise your hand if you want to fight in the UFC" and this guy had his hand up first.
They have similar records and both have 100% finishing rate - WAR FOTN. Anybody seen or heard anything about Reyes before?
I doubt it's that guy. There is a 12-2 lightweight.
Belal was the fight to make you stupid goobers!!!!!
That was a real bummer today hearing Alves was out. I had a feeling any replacement would be a nobody, but I'm just glad they found someone and that Platinum stays on the card.
Also hasnt fought since 2015 but has quite a few submissions. Perry might be in trouble if he gets tapped by a 3 day no name.
WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN
Alex Reyes record is pretty unusual, loses his fist 2 (one tko and one decision) then 8 tko/ko wins followed by 4 sub wins.
I guess this one isn't going to the judges.
Last fight in 2015, never fought in the UFC...
I bet they paid him to lose via some brutal shit to keep hyping that bar brawler
