Something about an underdog overcoming the odds.

100 Years in the future: Mega-Corporations have taken over the world. The have more power and money than governments ever did. Scientists and theologians working for the largest and most powerful Mega-Corp make an incredible discovery - Heaven and Hell are real. And there are places on earth where Hell can be accessed.

Mega-Corps begin offering After Life Insurance. For a fee in the Billions, highly trained specialists - nicknamed the Real Hell's Angels - will descend into Hell itself and retrieve your Soul, which will then be placed in a clone body, gentically egineered to be physically perfect. You can commit every sin imaginable and never have to suffer the torments of the damned. Physical immortality - for a very high price.

For obvious reasons, the Mega Corps keep both the existance of Hell and After Life Insurance a very strictly guarded secret. The movie can thus focus on one or several story arcs that come from this basic concept.

- A rookie RHA on his first retrieval op.

- A dying veteran leading his team on one last operation. He knows that he'll soon be coming back to Hell for good...

- An ex-employee of the Mega Corp who is disgusted that Billionaires can buy their way out of paying for their sins, and is determined to expose the truth.

- A Real Hell's Angels team finds that their mission is being sabotaged. One by one they are picked off and killed. They must figure out who the traitor is before he kills them all.

- A team is sent to the deepest and worst part of Hell. No Soul has ever been retrieved from this deep. The fee is astronomical, the odds almost suicidal. And if they somehow manage to pull it off, they will bring back to life the greatest evil the world has ever known...
Ripping you off. Fantastic story

Also theres a movie id like to make based off a real historical event. I forget the ship crews names but anyway when the Spanish Armada got swept away by the sea some of them ended up getting shipwrecked on the irish coast. They ended up getting mugged by the locals and stumbling upon an Irish chieftain who took them in for their service and they ended up fighting this crazy castle siege war for him against the english. They succeeded and then fled around the country again.

Edit : Ah yes here it is

I agree with you about Cool Runnings. It’s a masterpiece

Give me an huge budget trilogy on Julius Caesar life by Ridley Scott :D

1st - Youth, pirates, Greece, Governor of Spain
2nd - Triumvirate, Lot of crazy shit, final Battle of Alesia
3rd - Caesar vs Pompeius, big boss time, Cleopatra, betrayal and death. Ending showing his successor Octavianus (future first Roman Emperor) going from weak nerd to #slaytraitors #avengecaesar #emperorstyle

Crazy thing is even with 3 big movies will be hard show Caesar's entire life without cut tons of potentially movie-cool stuff

around 1992 i had the idea for a film where the viewer sympathizes with a serial killer

dexter got semi close to it many years later

A 37 year old woman from Tampa by the name of Caroline Kennedy runs for president on a dare from her best friend.

She wins.

I remember in college for some creative writing class we had to come up with a movie idea. I came up with something that was like invasion of the body snatchers but with a psychological twist. A dude wakes up and everyone either wants to kill or capture him or they are deathly afraid of him. It has him questioning whether he is actually the bad guy and he did something awful that he can't remember or if everyone is going crazy around him.

Dexter goes with a trick on that though, the whole "he kills only bad peoples" that support his character as a "positive" figure throught the series (even with some errors on his "code")

It make leverage on he does what the law have not the balls to do type of reasoning, easy sympathize with somebody that clean the crap from the world

I think much closer to that is the more recent Hannibal by Mikkelsen

No way you can see him in any "positive" perspective, you're just pushed to hope he kill all his obstacles so he can continue being a cool villain in his tv series lol

Sometimes his victims are pieces of shit/criminals/killers too, but that's not the point, while on Dexter was the key of lecture

Two.mismatched cops
Ones an ex seal whos all burnt out and is now a maverick cop who plays by his own rules
The other is a straight shooting family man (whos secretly a ninja) cop
Together they have less than a week to bring down the biggest drug dealer on the west coast (whos the mayors son)
All this sterotype action movie fun occurs in a city overrun with zombies!!!

Maybe another attempt at Caligula? staring Tom Hiddlestone? Shedog poll as to who plays Caesonia?

Remake taking the basic concept of Highlander but setting it in the crusdes to the modern era, English or French knight as the protagonist, Stephen Dillane or Fassbender as the mentor with the twist he becomes the antagonist.
