Pinch deadlift with crappy plates..?

    I'm stuck with technogym plates ATM and not sure if any point in me even trying the 2 hand pinch grip deadlift considering the plates don't have a smooth side. Should I try anyway it substitute another exercise?

    Snatch grip deadlifts will allow you to use more weight and hit the same muscles. There's other ways to work your grip if that's what you're aiming for.

    I'd have to say, answering this question in the OP would save a lot of threads from certain death.

    Maybe he saw Eric Bugenhagen pinch deadlift 345# and wants to give it a go.

    Make or purchase a pinch block.

    It depends on your goal, but I would try 2 hand pinch grip if I was you for now.
