PFL Season kicks off this week

Every country around the world except for the U.S. is supposed to be able to watch the entire cards on Facebook Live, so hook your laptop, Chromecast, Roku or whatever other device you have up to your tv and watch that way, live or the archived video afterwards.
 
So everyone who fights this Thursday is suppose to fight a second time on either July 19th or August 2nd.
 
Has it been revealed how the million dollars would be distributed? Like if you win the whole thing does each win equal 1mil or do the fighters get paid a flat rate each fight and the finals winner gets a bonus of 1mil?

Ray Sefo & Carlos Silva explained it on The MMA Hour. Fighters will get their regular contracted fight purses on their two fights on the seven Thursday night regular season cards, which will vary by individual fighters. Then there are $50,000 bonuses for a quarter-final loss, $100,000 bonuses for a semi-final loss, the runner-up gets $200,000 and the season champion gets a million dollars. So the exact example they gave was that if a fighter got $30,000 to fight and $30,000 to win on each on their two regular season fights and won the season, they'd earn $1,120,000.
 
PFL 1 weigh-in info from Newsday of all places. Shawn Jordan missed the heavyweight limit by about 9 pounds so his bout with Phillipe Lins is in jeopardy, as well as Kelvin Tiller vs Alex Nicholson since Nicholson only weighed in around 214 pounds and NYSAC rules say that heavyweight fighters must be within 25 pounds of each other. There is supposed to be some re-shuffling of the card. Ceremonial weigh-ins will be on Facebook at 4 PM ET.

Damn thats not a good start. I am excited for this organization, I hope it can do something but having a few fighters fall out hurts the tournament thing their trying to do.

Holy hell, how did Tiller balloon up that much? Dude used to fight at LHW, might have even tried MW too if I'm not mistaken.

Yikes that's a rough start.

I don't know that we have any rules for weight misses.

Does that disqualify the fighter?

If one fighter pulls out, does the other fighter automatically get the same points they'd get for a win?
