Rules of the PFL Season
Unified Rules of MMA apply, but NO Elbows
6 divisions (FW, LW, WW, MW, LHW, HW), 12 fighters each, and the top 8 fighters based on score advance to the tournament
Playoffs feature 2 round quarterfinals and 3 round semifinals in the same night, so the winners of the first bouts will have to fight again that night.
After the finals have been determined, a year-end show will crown the winners of each weight class.

Fighter Pay:
Winner in each weight class earns $1 million
Runner-up in each weight class earns $200,000
Semifinal losers earn $100,000
Quarterfinal losers earn $50,000
Each fighters also makes their standard show/win money depending on their contract.

really like the format of PFL's tournies and all but I have no clue who half these fighters are. too bad

Surprised Will Brooks is a slight underdog. I've said it before, but I'm going to laugh when he failed his way into a million dollar paycheck while those around him who were succeeding barely break 6 figures.

Between PFL and Bellator, today is going to be a pretty great night of MMA.

Oh shit so some of these guys will be fighting twice tonight?

NO Cancelled Bouts! - Holy shit!!!

Going to be a good night. PFL on the laptop, Bellator on the tablet, and discussing both on the forms on the desktop.

All the winners!

By the end of the night we'll just be left with the 2 finalists from Lightweight and the 2 finalists from Light-Heavyweight.

All the winners!

Except the two Alternatives in case someone gets injured in the first fight.

LHW Alternate: Brandon Halsey (11-4) vs. Ronny Markes (18-6)
LW Alternate: Ramsey Nijem (9-7) vs. Yuki Kawana (14-3-5)

For LW

I think the two Finalists will be Case and Brooks

For LHW

I think we'll see Vinny and Grishin (Ataev could sure spoil Vinny's place though. Even if I'm a bit sketchy on his 39-years old cardio)

What a night to air this, with Fedor & Chael's HW tournament.

Not seeing a facebook link yet. Think it might start 6:30 or 6:45.

So this event was slated by PFL to begin at 6, as you can see in the poster that I put on the first post that the PFL put up today, and there's not even a link up on their facepage. So, 6:30 instead? 6 fights in two and a half hours is easy, especially since they're all two rounders.

Hurry up, you bums.

They just posted on twitter 20 minutes ago that the facebook portion begins at 6.

According to PFL website

Pre-Show 6:30
FB Watch 6:45

Just having to toggle between this and Bellator is annoying enough.
