Erickson fought cans while Conor has fought top competition. Rickson is a myth while Conor is real.
Conor grew up fighting on the mean streets of Dublin. You don't know shite.Without the Gracies there would be no Conor and no UFC. Rickson is widely considered the greatest BJJ fighter ever. Pretty much every elite grappler who has trained with him says he is the greatest ever. He might not have been a complete MMA fighter like now we have, but without him there would have been no Pride FC and without his brothers there would have been no UFC. He is certainly a lot more important in the history of the sport than Conor. Respect where its due. And at the end of the day, it's Conor stealing something from Rickson, and not the other way around. So go figure who is real and who is not.
Also, Rickson is one of the few that actually experienced real fighting. He grew up having illegal fights on the street where pretty much anything goes. Conor fights in a sport heavily controlled by rules. Rickson didn't.
Ido Portal stealing some moves once again....
He's training for a different sport. Would you try to justify it if Conor warmed up this way?

Conor was training for boxing, not MMA, idjit.Oh so you think Rickson Gracie's training is a typical training for BJJ? He was using strike as well
What value would the time you put into touching your head to the back of your knee be in comparison to doing actual boxing exercises and training? That would be a problem, how exactly?

You didn't answer the question. What value would the time spent stretching until you could touch your head to the back of your knee be in comparison to spending that time doing actual boxing exercises and training?Because it warms you up and increases your flexibility? How is this hard to understand?

Right. So how much time do you think it would take Conor to be able to touch his head to the back of his knee, and do you think that there are better uses for his training time?Increased flexibilty increases your potential punching power, speed (POTENTIALLY). There's only so much time that can be spend doing physical exercise until it becomes detrimental.
