Just had my weekly work meeting and found out a co worker killed someone last week outside a strip club. He was a nice guy that I got along with well when working, he didn't work all that often. It feels strange when I think about it. The story is kinda strange too. It sounds like someone started firing a gun in the parking lot and he ran to his car and got a gun and killed someone. The someone he killed was unarmed though. He was questioned by police and let go that night but a few days later they issued a warrant for 2nd degree. Huge bummer for all involved. Humans are fucking crazy.

I have no idea and I didn't know him well enough to find out but it sounds like he was try to stop the first gunman and ended up killing someone else, not sure "gunman" and "someone else" were connected in anyway though. It also sounds like he told the cops everything when they questioned him at the scene.

If he didn't work all that often, how was he still employed?

Honestly this, I love my dad to death, but my dad fits this profile to a T. We were never a "gun family", then my brother got one, took my dad shooting, and he bought one. Then all of a sudden my dad thinks he's Clint Eastwood or some shit

My mom told me a couple weeks ago, that they came home one Saturday night, to find ash from a fire, at recently moved in neighbors house, was all over my parents new car. My dad got pissed and went over there, they had words, and my dad came back to the house, got his gun, and went back. She said she heard more yelling, and then he came home. They live in the country, so nothing came from it.

My dad was always one to stand up for himself and his family, but he was never "Billy Badass" and did shit like that. I'm hoping he chills out with the Dirty Harry complex, so I don't end up hearing about my 58 year old father shooting someone, or getting shot himself over something stupid.

Sounds like there were 2 armed guys shooting at unarmed people in the parking lot.

a former gf of mine's father used to raise horses and sit around retired until he started training Krav to some old military buddies, within a year the house had desert eagles on all the side tables and AR-15 lockers and buried his assets in converted gold bullion in his backyard

Might be time to put pops in an old folks home already.
Why on Earth would he think it was a good idea to go get his gun to argue with his neighbor about some fucking ash that can be rinsed off with water ? That's crazy

I know man, I stopped my mom talking about it and asked "wait? he really did that?. Even as I typed that posted, I was thinking "I can't believe this really happened!"

You think Clint Eastwood can’t escape an old folks home or just smuggle a gun in?

Sounds like that co-worker hadn't watched enough movies to learn "don't be a hero."

Look at the thread about the guy who got his car kicked. People were saying they'd head stomp on the guy. Look at road rage incidents. People can turn nuts really quickly.
