My thoughts exactly.
Why do you think the call him Crumble.
whole discussion about her corner and her behvior between rounds is embarassing for her; it's embarassing for UFC and disrespectfull for her oponnent.
if figther wants to quit he can do it without corner:
but then live with consequences
i didn't think the fight should be stopped because she took too much damage, i thought the fight should be stopped because mentally she was giving up. just like Miesha Tate giving up in the middle of fighting Pennington. just quit, i don't want to watch you go out there and do nothing.
i want to see someone who is going to try to win.
I think one thing is to think it should've been stopped, and the other is to blame the corner for not stopping the fight.
One is totally fine , and the other really not under this circumstances, in my opinion.
60 Day suspension..? No way in hell is Pennington's corner going for that, they arranging her next fight in two weeks...
i understand what you're saying, and i'm not really blaming the corner. i'm just saying, if i was her corner, i'd have called the fight after her first time saying she's done.
would i be wrong? i don't know, that's just a matter of opinion i suppose, sort of like this.
no you are not
but wrong to blame the corner in public like some of these fuckfaces like...well i wouldn't call out names i guess
yeah i can see what you're saying. crucifying the corner because you disagree with their call is a bit much. at the end of the day, everyone is ok (relatively speaking).
Glad she'll have a quick turnaround an nothing significant damage wise .
yeah but Penn talked way more batshit crazy trash talk like ''im gonna go to the death'' and ''GSP is a quitter and a front runner''
He still showed a crazy amount of heart and took a shitload of damage.
I love GSP, and I think he's a way better fighter than Penn ever was, but BJ took way more and showed way bigger heart than GSP did against Serra. Even GSP's loss to Hughes was (self-admittedly) due to a mental lapse.
So I don't think those comments have any effect on whether BJ showed a ton of heart and shouldn't have gone on.
