Some dude asked how many sets I had left right when I started Squatting. I said 8 and he gave me an angry look and said can I work in. I said sure. Did my first set of 215. I had previously warmed up for 15 mins. I said do you want to strip it and warm up? He said no and put 275 on it and did the usual quarter squat bullshit. Not that I care, I just went about my sets of 3. About set 5 he said why do you only do 3 reps? I half assed explained waving reps/sets over a four month cycle starting with sets of 10 in cycle 1 and ending with sets of 3 in month 4. I started to explain the process further and he was like yeah I get it you're doing muscle confusion. (He said it like yeah dude I'm not retarded I lift bro) That was the extent of our conversation.
I read all this stupid ass gym idiot stories in the main and used to be like that shit never happens. It happens. Alot.
