The day before Frampton/Santa, PBC will be on Spike with Adonis vs Williams (the guy that KO'D Just Bleed Rodriguez).

The co-main for the night is Chad Dawson vs Eleider Alvarez.

This was originally supposed to be the July 16 Fox Card, but thanks to Povetkin, we get Deontay there.

This is not a bad Spike card at all. Not Broner level, but better than the Ranches vs Bey fight

Edit: Chad Dawson injured. Alvarez fighting a nobody (damn it)

We'll see if Adonis has one more slap left in him.

Hopefully Williams can pull this off. Stevenson is the worst champion LHW has seen in some time and thats really saying something.

Stevenson is sort of the poster child for why "Lineal champion" does not really mean anything anymore (except for the fact that you beat the last lineal champion, regardless of how or why you got that opportunity). Until there is a structure in place, in which the lineal champion has to fight the top contender, it will continue to be mostly meaningless.

If Joe Smith beats Gvozdyk, and then the winner of this fight, and then the winner of Ward/Kovalev, we might have a new star.

It's not meaningless. But it has less relevance than ever before.

Jeez, anything else you'd like him to do... like any seas you need parted?

Williams is one of the most exciting guys in the sport right now. A ton of power, not much defense, he'll knock you down, then immediately run straight into a huge shot and get knocked on his ass, then get up and crush your brain against your skull all in about 90 seconds. He's always got a puncher's chance but Adonis will have a hard time missing with that left of his. Should be super violent either way. Great fight for casuals and hardcores alike.

180 lbs catchweight-

Berridge- 178
Alvarez- 179

Williams Jr- 174.6
Pimp- 173.6

Tha Boxing Voice weekend fights preview.

Adonis is going to be to precise with his punches, Williams leaves himself wide open.
I think he gets countered by a vicious pimp slap in the 7th round.

Haha haha this fight is PPV in Canada even though they get Spike

Is that why I can't find it? I have Spike by Cops is on instead. Plus I can't get Showtime at all. Damn this country.

If Adonis wins he needs a meaningful fight next.

Please not that guy that beat Fonfara

Alvarez is his mandatory.

Joe Smith Jr definitely a little green (hes only 25) and he needs to fight bums to develop.

This girl making it sound like Kovalev is ducking Stevenson
