Paul vs John

Paul didn't almost ruin a Day In the Life! That balance of mundanity punctuates John's message about desensitization. I guess I prefer Paul but I don't know, it changes. If it weren't for Paul being such a perfectionist and obsessive about production (along with George Martin) there really wouldn't have been a meaningful platform for Lennon's exploration anyway. And Lennon and Yoko's stuff is fine but as someone who likes really avant garde music it can come off as lightweight. Paul was more honest with his art, in my opinion. John was brilliant too though. Tomorrow Never Knows almost gets him the nod alone.

But I guess George Martin is the one.
