I hope this guy is OK.
Is it because of weight cutting?
Should he even be allowed to fight?

Pancrase 290 streams tonight at 1am.

Now to wipe that scary memory away: ;)
 
No he should DEFINITELY not be cleared for this fight. Fucking disgraceful. His life is literally in jeopardy to fight now.

Why not have something there available to drink?
 
I mean if he made weight and the fight isn't until tomorrow. I'd say have a doctor look at him closer to fight time and make the call.
 
Not the first time I've seen this, and it's usually in Asian promotions. Always scary.
 
His bushido spirit gets him killed on the scale instead of in the fight. fail. Lame joke aside that was very scary.
 
Word is he only got to Tokyo 2 days ago and was still 8 kg over which is absurd for a Strawweight. He still needs to get cleared by doctors on fight day but I would strongly consider pulling him off the card if I was his corner.
 
Japanese orgs have the habit to bring brazilians on two days notice, even when they are far from making weight. Makes their countrymen win.
 
Also, the corner and team should say no to the fight, the guy could die.

Holy shit when you think you've seen it all and then you see this shit. WTF I can't believe they're actually going to let him fight?
