McGregor is a 2 division champ, that alone makes him better P4P. Jones has ducked and will continue to duck the HW division.

McGregor will fight anybody on short notice and has already done so against dangerous opponents.

Jon Jones ducked Chael Sonnen on short notice. Chael Sonnen.

A 5'9'' Jones against McGregor would get ko'ed in the first round.

A 6'5'' 84'' span Conor McGregor would KO Jones in less than 2 rounds.

p4p is a speculative list designed to compare fighters in different weight classes who wouldn't fight each other. it's stupid to suggest 1 win over 1 guy 10 pounds heavier than the class Mac can't make anymore was THAT big of a difference maker.

The Diaz loss really tars his P4P claim, also he beat Eddie Alvarez to get the title, even Cerrone beat Alvarez.

2 division champ, but has never defended the belt. Conor has defeated 2 former world champions, while Jones has 7 wins over 6 former world champions:
    Daniel cormier (x2)
    Lyoto Machida
    Shogun Rua
    TRT Vitor
    Rampage jackson
    Rashad Evans

And Jones has cleaned out his division and defended the title with 10 wins in title fights.

No dominant champion is obligated to move up in weight. Especially when Jones has cleaned out his division like no other fighter in history. Jones has also defeated DC who is a natural heavyweight who went undefeated at HW and Brandon Vera who is also a natural HW who defeated Fran Mir.

Jones doesn't like taking fights on short notice. Thats completely respectable. If you want time to study your opponent and make a gameplan to protect your legacy and record thats completely fine. When he did fight Chael Sonnen, he was the one wrestling Chael and finished him with a broken toe in the first round....

Its pointless to make speculations about this, however if you compare their skill sets Jones has a far superior skill set than mcgregor. He has far superior cardio, wrestling, and jiu jitsu. Jones is much more dominant than mcgregor, more well rounded, and more skilled.

2division champ got a belt stripped and as yet to defend his recent strap and don't get me started about the other belt he dropped like his son's dirty diaper. The fact alone he's yet to defend a God Damn thing exes him out any p4p talk, believe dat..

Jon not only defended his belt multiple times he KO'ed the guy who didn't win the belt from him and got his strap back... p4p GOAT!

P4P isn't all about fighting in 5 divisions. It has something to do with winning and losing and being a champion and defending titles. And Jones has only one loss by DQ, while Conor tapped out three times.

What dangerous opponents? Diaz? Lol! Poirier? Lol! Brandao? Lol! Brimage? Lol! Siver? Lololoooooool!
He only has Aldo, who tripped.

Yes, he did. And Conor fought Siver, the midget on steroids. Hey, when someone trash talks his opponents, makes you wonder how good is he if he fights midgets on steroids or skinny mexicans.

We don't know that, we know that Conor is 5.9 and Jones is 6.5. Sure, Conor can blame his mother, his father, his genetics, what can you do...

hey Bro.... I'm speaking to everyone moreso than I'm speaking just to you.

TS makes an excellent point about Jones being too much of a diva pussy to take a late replacement. They actually had to cancel a numbered ppv show just prior to the event when Chael waz right there ready to go. Jones shut it down. Thousands of people had to lose money on previously bought plane tickets... & their vacation week waz completely f*cked now that there waz no event for them to attend. Every fighter on the card paid for & did a full fight camp for the event just to be told it wasn't going to happen. The UFC likely ate a ton of money on refunding tickets, advertising, staff involvement... & they might even of still been stuck with the venue cost. I don't know... but Jones' pussy showing caused a hell of a lot of problems.

Now skip out of that to see McGregor at international fight week ready to fight for the title... when he's told it ain't gonna happen. He gave up his title shot to fight Chad. Everything waz on the line for him. If he lost... he would have to work his way back up... but he took it. He could've refused & still got his title shot down the road... & he did the same thing with the Nate fight when RDA backed out. Sure it all worked out in the end... but mac risked it to save those cardz. Even the most hard core member of the resistance has to recognize that.

Meanwhile f*cking Rumble won't take a late replacement on UFC 206 making it turn out to be the lowest PPV of the year... & so him & Jon are kiling all these events, & disapointing fanz that spent their hard earned money to attend only to find the main event has gone missing... or even the whole event!!!

This is something that everyone pushing around the GOAT conversation will have to consider & mark favorably in Conor's favor in the argument for the title of GOAT.

Obviously, he's not there yet... but with a win over Mayweather & another high profile win or 2 in MMA... including a 3rd belt... Conor will be in the discussion... & his willingness to take late notice fights will speak volumes against those pussies who refuse them.

    imo
