Omoplata Drill Sequence and Concepts

In this video I show a drilling sequence for the Omoplata. The Omoplata can be a difficult position/submission for people to understand.

In my opinion, learning how the Omoplata fits with the Triangle and the Reverse Triangle can lead to a greater understanding of the mechanics of the submission as well as provide a stable set of setups.

Being able to flow from one submission to the next is also an important skill as it will be difficult for your opponent to mount an offense while continually defending against the attacks you are throwing.
