It's a good advice to train the muscle endurance besides the aerobic endurance.
Boxing it's quite hard in that aspect. So the advice sounds very clever, training the muscular endurance before strenght in the 5x5 protocols or even less.
I think, it could be nicely added to my weekends training. Sparring plus endurance weight lifting.
Tomorrow, my sparring partner is going to play futbol. So I'm going to make a 7km running plus abs training and this kind of exercises.
I'll do the explosive bench, globet squats and for shoulders one handed barbell from floor (sorry I don't remember its name). 100 reps for each exercise, circuit styled.
