Anderson did not give a half ass effort. He claims that to save face. If he really had disliked Demian as much as he claimed due to the social class reason, he would have ended Demian and put the hurt on him. But he couldn't due to not wanting to over-commit and end up on the ground. He wanted to take 0% risks. Anyone who believes that Anderson wasn't trying or was trolling Demian is clueless
