Sexual Orientation Gender Identity mandatory curriculum for public schools in British Columbia

Yes, pornographic desensitization is real and dangerous. It literally alters the shape of your neurological pathways so that you are unable to "get off" in a normal way.

We have guys in their late 20s or early 30s who can't get a boner anymore. There are all kinds of psychological problems associated with porn addiction. Is it really a coincidence that the first generation to grow up soaked in online porn and social media since childhood is having so many issues, so much anxiety, dysphoria and depression?

It is the one time I would say encountering such and such is "bad" for kids. It's really not good for young kids to have such easy access to porn. When I was in my early teens, I got my hands on a few pics of the poon. It was motivational, not destructive. But if I could sit in my room and spank it for hours to hd porn vids of the hottest girls from all over the world, how would I ever be satisfied with Mary from down the street with the not covered in makeup freckles who is nervous even holding hands?

It's pretty fucked up, but I'm not sure how it could possibly have been prevented. Kids will always find counter-measures to get around parent imposed restrictions, I think. Further, I like to think that if I had a kid there's no way I'd give my kid a cell phone, and the computer would be in the living room, dammit, and hey don't spend all day texting... and so on, but that would just ensure the kid was an outsider so could I really do that? Probably not.

Mary has been practicing what she watches online and can hold a whole banana down her throat without gagging, most likely ordered her first toy on Amazon at the age of 13, and by the time you meet her at 16 she's been doubled up on more than once.

Me either. I think that parenting has always been a balance - you don't want to be too strict or too permissive, but what has always been a fine line is now like a piece of fishing line or something. How can you control what your kids are exposed to when their classmates can pull a device out of their pocket and show them a midget gangbang? How can you convince them that getting caught up in the plastic narcissism of social media is bad for them when everyone is doing it? It's tough being a parent these days, sure it's far easier to keep your kid fed and physically healthy than in ages past but it's harder and harder to keep them from getting mindfucked by our decadent, nihilistic society.

Did kids draw them Serial Killer sketches? Pretty damn talented kids.

Imagine a right wing school having kids draw KKK & Nazi shit. Wonder if the major media would pick it up

50 years from now we will all be the same sex. Dicks will be a thing of the past. And we will all lay eggs every year of beautiful no gender babies.

So gender doesn't define who we are, right, some boys like dressing up and girls like to "catch snakes" {<huh}whatever the fuck that means. But why is it then that when a girl likes short hair and boy's clothes gendertrenders assume she must be a boy deep on the inside. Even though being a boy doesn't mean anything of course.

These people are so obsessed with stereotypes that they created a whole rainbow of gender identities for all the different ones. Maybe we should let kids be kids and not having them forced to be one thing or another? If your boy likes to wear dresses, that shouldn't be a problem but it also shouldn't mean that he "is" a girl.

I have no idea what to say about the serial killer shit.

This please. Kids are curious and try different things. If a kid puts on a pair of goggles, adults don't tend to tailor his life around being a fighter pilot. But for some reason if that same kid puts on a dress, adults seem to want to reinforce that behavior. Maybe their perception is that if they don't reinforce it that they are oppressing it. But that would be overlooking magical option C: just let them be kids and goof around.

If your kid picks up a shovel, it doesn't necessarily mean they want to be a landscaper.
If your kid grabs a guitar, it doesn't necessarily mean they want to be a musician.
If your kid puts on clothes that are traditionally worn by another gender, it doesn't necessary mean they believe they are of a different gender.

A lot of people are too extreme these days. One way or the other, everybody pursues their ideology so aggressively that they do and say things that are just strange to me.

When my son was like 5 he went through a phase where he was "consistent, persistent and insistent" (to borrow the phrase that gender clincians use to "prove" that a child is trans) that he was Spiderman. I guess I should have legally changed his name to Peter Parker and had web-shooters surgically implanted in him.

We REALLY need a world war to thin the population out. This stupid shit is what happens when you dont have to worry about real world stuff.

As a parent of a ten year old child in BC I'm all for teachng that there are gay and trans people out there as part of sex ed but they should tread carefully .

It's shocking how few parents talk to their kids about sex , when they started with basic sex ed ( basic reproduction and puberty) most of his friends were traumatized according to him , I had already covered most of that and then some .

The issues are only now really starting to show up, with the first generation now being raised with internet porn. Truckloads of relationship problems with these kids.

First you try and block our pipeline and now you want to compete in the NDP education games BC?

Bitch please, I see your serial killers, and play our Gender Unicorn, and "How to do drag makeup" class.

Always one step behind us eh BC.

Was/is there a significant pushback against gender ideology in schools in AB? Parents are taking to the streets in BC, there was some resistance here in ON but I always thought of you guys as shit-kicking cowboys and I was shocked when I first saw all that crap about the gender unicorn out there.

Yah, but the consultation process was bullshit. The meeting we attended was pretty much a gay guy calling a room of 300 concerned parents hillbillies for 90 minutes.

Eggen pushed it through, just like they will everywhere else. So now our kids attend a Christian academy. Enrollment in Catholic school has sky rocketed. Same with private school enrollment, but they will be coming after us soon enough.

Lmao sort of similar experience here, with even less consultation. The only serious pushback at my daughter's school was from myself and a group of Muslim parents, but they gave up after the school let them turn the auditorium into an Islamic prayer room on Fridays. She's in a private school now and even though it's costing me a grip it's money well spent.

There was quite a few twisted parents we know. A number of them now home school.

The private schools in our area are excellent, and I would bet 60% of the students enrolled at our school aren't even Christian. There is a big push to do away with the split Catholic public system, and if any government is going to get it done it will be the NDP.
I need to find the original drafts from before the consultations, we were able to roll back some blatantly absurd shit, but the biggest issue is still the cutting parents out. Most parents aren't keen on the school keeping secrets with their kids.
