McGregor literally has more fans than any fighter in UFC history. This board isn't reflective of the mass population. The board represents herd mentality. It's simply easier to get likes by hating on McGregor. Humans yearn for affirmation. Makes sense.

The Siver fight was a tune up fight so McGregor could stay active while he waited on Aldo. Tune up fights happen all the time in boxing. Most mma fans didn't get that because they're new to the fight game, and frankly kind of dumb. The difference is the UFC didn't give McGregor a belt for his tune up fight.
