I'd recommend you watch Frey vs. Hamasaki at Invicta FC 19 for the Invicta FC atomweight belt.
And Ham vs Cortney Casey-Sanchez at UFC FN 17

Here's a look at a virally famous KO by Frey:

method=get&s=jinh-yu-gif.gif

Apparently DeAnna Bennetts removal from rankings wasnt accident. She has been cut along with Christina Marks

So are they keeping Karine?
Keeping Whitmire and Karine but cutting Deanna is insane no matter how boring her fight was.

Thanks to your recommendation I watched both fights. Much appreciated. P.S. Seo Hee Ham vs Courtney Casey was at UFC FN 79.

Now I'm stoked for Ham vs. Frey this Saturday.

Speaking of Ham, win or lose against Yu Frey; this is very much the rematch I'm trying to see under mma rules:

^ Thanks for that & thanks to everyone who posts here.

Regarding Frey vs. Hamasaki at Invicta FC 19 for the Invicta FC atomweight belt, Frey looked pretty good until that nasty cut that caused the stoppage. Hamasaki hit her with a clean overhand right then followed with a few more until they stopped it. Good sportsmanship by both fighters indicating they would have preferred to keep fighting. Looking at that cut above Frey's right eye, it was very deep.

lolwut?

They better start signing away the remaining top 125ers, that Bennett fight was tough to watch but she’s solid depth for a fledgling division

thing is, she was on a three fight losing streak going into the house (two of those losses at 115), then has a horrendous fight on the Finale, its not really much of a shock shes been cut

I don't think she was gonna make much noise at 125, and she certainly is on a slide.

Still, that the likes of Rawlings are ranked right now should tell that until they can get the Maia's, Kuma's, and Lipski's of the division to come over it looks very strange to start hemorrhaging depth.

i think the fact her fight was utterly horrible, and it was her fault it was utterly horrible may not have helped her cause.

she was clearly more worried about the win than putting on a good performance. Irony is, if she just stood and banged and got knocked out she may have got given another go just because she tried to put on a show

I dont think after that performance many people have much sympathy for her

So I was thinking, if the UFC want to sign a bjj world champ to the roster ........

They're considering cutting Beck who, was pretty much winning her fight until getting knocked out over Gevorgyan who missed weight and got submitted in the first round... Bye.

Alesha Zappitella (2-0 1NC) returns at Strawweight against Kyna Sisson (3-1). Both fighters are coming off somewhat controversial fights. Kyna last fought Chelsea Faulder-Conner for KOTC in August and won the fight by DQ after Chelsea kicked Kyna in the head when she was on the ground. Otherwise, Chelsea was likely to win that fight. Alesha beat Stephanie Alba for Combate in her last fight in April, but had the fight turned into a No Contest after Alesha tested positive for weed. She was then scheduled for a fight with Heqin Lin for Kunlun Fight in Australia in October but the fight fell through. These two have history because they fought as amateurs and Sisson came on top that time. This was before Alesha joined Scorpion Fighting System and become more well rounded so she thinks shes going to be able to take the rematch.
