His numbers in the finals have actually been historically great. Better than guys like Dirk, Kobe, Wade, and Worthy. The gravity he gives his teammates also inflate their numbers and make it possible for role players to win fmvp

His averages are skewed by him going off for a few games every series. Then in the other games he's average at best and straight awful at worst. And he's now been outplayed by his opposing PG in two straight Finals...
 
Ok gotta go ghost fam and head back to my place for supplies (i.e. something to actually fkn sleep on). Power is still out over there last I heard lol

It's telling that the cavs double and trapped Steph on almost every play and pnr. That tells you who they think is the best player on the floor. We saw what KD looked like against the dubs last year when they doubled him every play

KD played on the Thunder, w/ virtually no shooting outside of himself and one of the chuckiest ball dominant PGs in NBA history
GS has the best shooters, combined, in NBA history and it's not close....

false congruency

also they weren't doubling much when Delly was on him when Kyrie went out.

For just this season? Absolutely. I wouldn't make that trade for future purposes, but Lonzo hasn't played a game yet. Lol at ranking him ahead of a perennial all-star right now.

Who cares about that? Is jersey retirement some kind of accomplishment? The cavs and pistons have retired tons of jerseys belonging to cans.

David Aldridge has been in the game for years, dude is cool as a cucumber and has authority. I remember him from TNT broadcasts from when I first got to watch cable hoops in the 90s
