OC Judo No-gi Combat Judo classes

Does anybody have any experience with these classes at Orange County Judo training center? I'm intrigued and would like to learn more about it.

Anybody knows anything about it I would appreciate it.

combat judo? sounds like an inferior version of catch-jitsu with less anti-cage biomechanics.

I don't think they are training with the idea of a cage match at all. Seems to be more self defence.

Check it out! Didn't see any mention of national or Olympic level coaching, but that can be a good thing depending on your technical interest.

For the Judo + SD stuff it's better if there's a dual high level authentic lineage Karate Dan rank or Kickboxing/MT as well as Judo.

Some of that can be weak sauce, bad striking and positional tactics from only being qualified at closed distance.

Someone with good mat elbows and knees + Judo = pretty cool SD mix.
