Notorious Irish Whiskey forced to drop brand name

He already changed the name to 'Proper no. 12' or something

Correct, and it's already out and been reviewed:

If you think that a fuckin stout has anything on a Trappist (google it) than I feel sorry for you, friend.
Never heard of it googled it. Spencer Trappist Ale Seems to the only America Trappist. I doubt any at 6.5% could taste any better than an squatters double ipa at 9.0%

Yea, IPA. Because drinking a damn pine forest is what I call good tasting..
Damn straight I’m not trying to drink 5-7 glasses of limited deliciousness, rather drink one or 2 And still taste remotely palatable

I was commenting on my hatred for IPA and it's Pine flavor. Why would any human want to drink a beer that tastes like a Christmas tree?

Notorious Whiskey = Bum Version of a good Whiskey aka the shit you drink when you're broke but wanna get shitfaced.

Tried finding it online, couldn't find a website of anyone who is making it.
There is lots of speculation right now. Mostly towards Conor lying about owning a distillery. Rumors are flying that this product is being made by Bushmillls. Conor McGregor has failed to comment on the matter.

Trademark issues forcing McGregors Irish Whiskey launch to be put on hold.

“Conor McGregor has withdrawn an application to register his Notorious whiskey as a trademark. An Irish brewer, Seamus O’Hara, objected to McGregor Sports and Entertainment Ltd company’s application to have the Notorious whiskey brand trademarked. O’Hara was successful in his attempt to block McGregor’s application, first put through in 2016, and the request has now been withdrawn.

I wouldn’t expect a failed plumber to understand copyright law.

Slap a different name on that shit and I'll buy it for pennies on the dollar. I like Irish whiskey and whiskey in general for that matter! Scotch is great if you have at least $60-$80 to spend on a bottle but even then, I think a $25 bottle of Buffalo Trace bourbon whiskey kicks the shit out of that level of Scotch.

Meh. To me, their is more to beer then alcohol. I go for taste first and fore most before % by volume concerns. Milk stouts and dark ales are some of my favorites. I am slowly exploring the trappiest ales from around the world, and man some of them are amazing.

McGregor just posted about Proper 12, his new whiskey brand, on Instagram. Looks like Seamus won’t be getting any money out of McGregor for the Notorious brand, that little weasel!

If you missed it, we reviewed it last week and mentioned the website that we got it from. They ship to most US states.

Bringing whiskey to market is Conor's smartest business move.

If he wins this fight, he can retire and make 100 mil a year in just whiskey sales.

Remember, George Clooney made a billion dollars with his tequila brand.
