I don't see Aspinall making the list, he's game but is gonna get murked

Several UFC fighters have won titles or notable fights coming in on short notice:

1. **Alexander Hernandez** at UFC 222, defeating Beneil Dariush.
2. **Brian Ortega** at UFC 222, knocking out Frankie Edgar.
3. **Donald Cerrone** at UFC Fight Night 59, defeating Benson Henderson.
4. **T.J. Dillashaw** at UFC 173, knocking out Renan Barao for the bantamweight title.
5. **Chris Leben** at UFC 116, defeating Yoshihiro Akiyama.
6. **Yoel Romero** at UFC 221, though he didn't win the title due to missing weight, he defeated Luke Rockhold.
7. **Daniel Cormier** at UFC 187, winning the light-heavyweight title from Anthony Johnson.
8. **Jon Jones** at UFC 128, defeating Shogun Rua for the light-heavyweight title.
9. **Nate Diaz** at UFC 196, submitting Conor McGregor.
10. **Michael Bisping** at UFC 199, knocking out Luke Rockhold for the middleweight title

10. **Michael Bisping** at UFC 199, knocking out Luke Rockhold for the middleweight title

Some context for fans of nuance

Barao TJ 9 weeks doesn't feel like short notice.

Yoel rockhold, Yoel already in camp for another fight when he received 1 months notice.

DC Johnson , dC already in camp for another fight when he received 1 months notice.

Jones Shogun, month and a half notice.

Bisping Rockhold, 17 days notice aka the only real short notice title fight of the whole list.

The rest aren't title fights so meh

Might adjust your list or change the thread title...

Aspinall is disadvantaged, no matter what people are saying. However if it's a brutal loss, no excuse then. If he wins, he wins on short notice which is impressive.

Leben Akiyama was amazing I remember watching it in a bar and losing my mind when Leben pulled off the sub

Good response, appreciate your input. The thread title was simply what I asked chat gpt.

Bisping v Rockhold was the truest last minute fight. Goes to show how difficult it is to win a title under these circumstances.

More than impressive, it'd be incredible
