This was a silly loss. Houston was up 2-1 in the 8th inning while only giving up one hit (maybe two? regardless) up until that point. Their reliever Gregerson comes in and completely implodes, giving up six runs. It definitely hurt since it was my biggest baseball bet of the season

Moving on, I have a big slate of plays that I like today

Two bullpen collapses (Tigers and O's) turns a meh day into an awful one. All a part of the game I suppose. Hope karma is on my side today

Also have my Boston Red Sox/Detroit tigers under 7.5 runs as Justin VerLander and Chris sale are on the rubber today and runs will be at a premium. This could be a 1-0 or 2-0 game.
 
It's hard to find value in late season NBA games because most teams aren't playing for anything, but I think I like the situation for the Clippers today. They are essentially playing for home court advantage in the first round against the Utah Jazz as they both have a 49-31 record. The Clippers own the tiebreaker and have an easier final two games compared to the Jazz. They control their own destiny and the Jazz need to be perfect while hoping for either the Rockets or the Kings to knock off the Clippers in one of their final two games. However, another caveat of this game is that the Rockets absolutely destroyed the Clippers last time these two teams met in Los Angeles. I think there is going to be a bit of a revenge factor here. Also, this will be the Rockets' 3rd game in 4 nights.

I think the number of 7.5 is too high (makes me wonder if Harden is going to be rested, honestly) so i'm only going to put 1.1u on that line and look to live bet more if the Rockets come out strong. I'll add around 3u if I can get the Clippers at -2.5 or better during the game

my units are 2.5x bigger on series plays than they are on individual games, not that anyone should care.

still have my 0.25u washington vs san jose finals bet at +6850, tho! (which i don't like a ton anymore, haha)

I'm back like a wild yak motherfuckers, went 3-0 on my first baseball plays of the season and I'm quitting now so I'm gonna be at little thing called 100% win rate, no biggie. Its like with women, you gotta hit it and quit it before it breaks your heart (cough cough, Jenny, you bitch.)

Gregerson's a piece of shit and so are all relievers in general. If I ever see Drew Storen irl I'm gonna shove his face in the grass and make him lick white dog shit. Hate that guy. GL on your plays, though.

I've been burned by too many relievers to count. I know it's part of the game but there's nothing worse, imo, than watching the pen blow 2+ run leads late in the game. I feel bad for the starter and it's super frustrating to watch them fuck up by not being able to get a handful of outs, which is what they're paid to do. I just hate relievers in general, they're specialists, not really skilled at the position other than usually having higher velocity and a decent secondary pitch.

I know there's bettors out there who will only take first 5innings so they don't have to bet on a particularly shitty bullpen or they just want to bet on the starter. Relievers are just a huge pain in the ass to rely on.
