I stated the word coast but another word I could have used was sneak. IMO the #3 or #4 seed in the west this season is not much different than the #1 or #2 seed.

    Good bounce back win.

    The Yutes were awesome.

Matthews, Jesus. He's so fucking good at hockey.

We need to update our sports racism terms for hockey. On the ice, Finns are athletic and explosive.

Really could have used Forsberg for these last two OT losses. The 3 game suspension for the hit on Vesey was excessive. Good thing it is over now and we have him back against the Habs Saturday night.

The battle for those last couple playoffs spots out West is going to be intense. I'm kind of sad the Islanders and Jackets fell off a cliff, but at least the Pens are looking like their old selves. Someone needs to stop Boston, they are playing playoff hockey in February.

That Matthews pull and shot is like a crane kick. No can defence.

I mean, how are you supposed to stop it? He's got the shake, and the bake. It's like Toto's Africa made wrist shot. You hear the post echo in the night, when Matthews goes bar down.

Another win for the arm chair coaches.

Marner should never be separated from Kadri EVER.

Crazy stat I heard during the broadcast about the Oilers PK - They are the #1 unit in the league on the road, but 31st in the league overall. That is possibly because they have the worst PK at home in the history of recording the stat (1977). How the fuck ? lol

PK is clowning the whole Canadiens organisation and it's hilarious. Let's go through the list of all the people that were rumoured to have issues with PK

1.) Michel Therrien - Fired mid-way through last season, didn't even make it 1 year without PK
2.) Tomas Plekanec - Has been a plug since signing his contract extension. Will likely be dealt at the trade deadline.
3.) Max Pacioretty - No showed in the playoffs last year yet again. Only has 33 points this year (10 points less than Subban). Might be traded.
4.) Brendan Gallagher - Actually having a good season by his standards, but it is really telling when a good season for him is still 11 points less than Subban.

Meanwhile PK makes it to the cup finals in his first season with the Preds, and is on pace for another Norris trophy this season. In the process he has exposed virtually all of his former teammates, coaches, and GMs as a group of pathetic losers.
