You son of a bitch
I have no doubt.
You wont see me calling Dez a model player or anything. Hes definitely got his issues. In the grand scheme of the NFL and who continues to be employed though, its head scratching to say the least.
Imho, its got more to do with Jerry than anyone else. Very influential power.
I still believe in Dez. I wouldn't wanna pay him 10 mil a season, but if I needed size in my WR corp and had an accurate QB.
Redskins should be all over Dez imo.
Actually not a terrible idea. Maybe he and Smith would have some sort of weirdo chemistry. I like when Alex finds his chutzpah and starts lobbing balls.
Someone finally did the numbers. Before cuts, Raiders average age is 26.4 years old. Last season the youngest was 24.24 and oldest was 27.28. Currently theyd be tied for 24th (Failcans) last year for oldest rosters.
All you Gruden’s Grinders cans can officially ESAL.
They need WR talent. Smith excels at short/intermidate. Dez has lost some speed but will still manhandle a DB.
Youve got Richardson as your deep threat and Crowder as your slot.
Anyone actually prefer Doctson over Dez....?
Doesn't that just demonstrate that he has a TON of passion? How fucking fired up do you have to be to hit your mom? Also if I remember right Dez was 23/24 at the time and his mom was 37 so it almost seems like hitting your older sister.
And his mom was a huge crackhead and apparently real nuts so..
Racism is the only logical option
Dez is passionate (positively and negatively), it's been proven
Dez can't always beat guys on the outside anymore
Dez hit his mom with a baseball cap. He didn't like...punch her in the chest
Dez is probably pricing himself out
Dez isn't very fast
And maybe the most painful thing to finally come to the realization of, If Dez was a number 1 WR still..at worst Jerry would've asked him to take a paycut, but he'd still be on the team.
The Cowboys wanted new voices, that's pretty much what the whole offseason has been about. The hired Kris Richard as the DB coach/passing game coordinator. Rod Maranara is already implementing Richard's terminology and the writing on the wall is he'll soon be DC once Rod Maranara retires. They are moving Byron Jones back to Cornerback and pretty much trying to mimic Seattle's defense, little by little.
They let Dooley (The WR coach) go to Tennessee, and signed Sanjay Lal to be the new WR coach. From what i've read Lal is highly regarded in the NFL but I had no clue who he was. If you've watched All or Nothing as someone said earlier, Dooley was a fucking stooge. No point in him being there, Dez just took over everything and Dooley had no balls about it at all. One of the many reason I don't think the Cowboys kept Dez.
It's a different team, real different. I'm keeping my expectations low, but i'm excited to see what all these changes bring.
The Rod God is for sure the best in the league, but Im very curious to see what Russell does with coaches that understand players strengths. There was that stretch in 2015 when Bevell(Im guessing it was him) called for short timing passes, much like in Russells Rookie Year, and all e did was shred the league setting records and lead the league in passer rating in the pocket.
Hopefully the lack of line throughout his career hasnt given him happy feet and he is willing to sit in the pocket more if called for.
Admittedly, I don't believe in reading. Fucking waste of time. However there is something to be said for time of possession with a Rb wearing out a defense and in the 4th breaking them like a passing game cant do.
I watched MArshawn do it for years, but so did you as he raked SF over the coals when they hadnt given up a 100 yard rusher.
Give it time, summer is here and the boats will be out soon.
It's a shame you didn't trust him on the goal line in the SB
Going to love seeing this shit show.
Looking forward to seeing how Dorsey is with players/coaches. Have heard a lot of conflicting information
