He has wins over Yair Rodriguez TKO, Jeremy Stephens UD, Chad Mendes KO, Urijah Faber UD, Cub Swanson Sub Neck Crank, B.J. Penn TKO, Charles Oliveira UD

Of those 3 TKO/KO, 1 Sub and 3 UDs. All dominate victories over a former FW champ, former LW champ, 4 top 10 FWs and Olivera who wasn't ranked at the time of their fight. So what is the Proof you have that he can't compete with top FWs aside from Jose Aldo?

We don't have to question it...I don't even like Edgar so to me it's really frustrating how good he really is. The only one in the division to beat him is the greatest FW of all time

Edgar is a beast, Aldo is just a bad matchup for him style-wise. Mendes was super competitive against Aldo and arguably beat him, and Edgar KOd Mendes in the first.
