Pro tip: Use Fus Ro Dah on Trolls when in the mountains. Trust me on this. Fun to use on livestock to for lulz.

Oh and avoid Dragons at all costs even after you beat your first scripted one until you are a decent level.

You'll want some ranged attack like arrows or magic to supplement your ground attacks if playing a warrior class.

    Enjoy!

That mod gave the game like 200+ hours of new life for me. Absolute game changer.

Man, I started playing computer games when they still looked like this:

I'm so out of it these days (although I have Skyrim and have just never gotten around to playing). WTF is switch?

They've always had this sort of trouble. They try to make the world so expansive it introduces a lot of buggery... err buggy code. I played Daggerfall when it first came out. When they released it you couldn't finish the game. They released patch after patch. 9 months later, they issued a "patch" that was really just a cheat that would let you skip over a broken part of the quest routine that prevented finishing the game. That game had a ton of potential but they fucked it up so badly I'm not surprised to hear Skyrim suffered similar issues.

Thanks. I've always been a PC guy, never could get over not having a mouse on a console.

I don't want to be too much of a sourpuss, but before Skyrim I never thought I could get bored fighting dragons in a video game. Venturing around the map became an angst-ridden affair because I just knew if I got spotted I was in for a slog. It made me wish that I'd actually researched a character build before hand.

You still got rewarded for your struggle though with souls and Dragon bones which were great for crafting or salable items. Later on when they werent as necessary you could basically one shot standard dragons and take down blood and ancient dragons pretty easily.

Other then Alduin or Paarthurnax and Elder Dragons most are pretty easy to take down. At least mid to late game.

Enemy scaling makes the game a dull grind with no real sense of increasing powers which make the great RPGs great. My advice, play Dark Souls.

Best advice I can give you - is to stop reading people's suggestions and guides. Just play the game.

Skyrim is an awesome fucking experience, and should just be enjoyed, at least to start. The game started to lose interest for me rapidly once I started looking up quest chains online.

Go out there and let loose!

40 hours in on switch and it's amazing how many quests are still new, after putting about 200 hours in between PS3 and Xbone.

And not a single bug on switch unless you count a tiger falling out of the sky

    But that's bethesda

It got tedious for me too, but for a different reason. Towards the end I was so well geared that dragons ceased to be any kind of challenge unless I go full retard. I got so bored of them that I was punching them with bare fist. Also I wasn't doing anything productive and was just going around Fus-Ro-Dahing everyone.

My character just wasn't doing any damage. It was fine the for the last few story missions, but I swear each random dragon took minutes for me to kill. I usually do fine with RPGs as far as speccing my character (I even usually play on whatever the highest difficulty is), but I goofed bad with Skyrim.

skyrim is only fun for like the first 50 hours or so, then it gets boring at 200 hours yo wonder where your life went.

its all fun and games until a dragon kills your blacksmith
