Nate must have zero confidence in beating anyone they give him

Nate would have to be an idiot to accept some fight for peanuts instead of waiting for Conor. This thread is played out. Nate is doing the smart thing, many of you are morons simple as that.

Hard to go back to making 60k a fight when you just made a few mil. Especially when you finished the UFC's biggest star and barely lost a close majority decision in the rematch in a fight where he out landed him and had Mcgregor running away the second half of the fight. In the long run, Diaz might be right to sit out. If Mcgregor really does want to finish the trilogy, and Diaz pulls off the win, he'll look like a genius for waiting out.
Nate is in the back of the line. Gsp new contract states one of his 3 fights is against conor

This pretty much sums it up.

How did Nick mismanage his whole career? He built his brand outside of the UFC, became a star, and came back to the UFC making 6 figure paychecks. How many other fighters can say that?

Diaz bro's are smarter than ya'll think.

Yeah the problem is that a lot of fans that post on here are shallow in their ability to gauge a fighter's career because the post via emotions and immediate feelings rather than actually taking the time to come up with a sustainable opinion :)

Nate and Nick biggest duckers in the sport

Nate vs Gaethje is probably this type of fight...

Hence why he's not accepting any other fight than the money fight
or he has a better idea of his worth than he did earlier in his career? or he has some money saved from the 2 conor fights and doesn't NEED to fight unless it is worth his while. i mean training camps suck and diaz has other interests as stays busy according to his instagram

What's peanuts in your opinion? Sucks for Nate that he is only relevant when Conor blesses him with a fight. Conor really did change his bum life

What if the re-match never materiales, which I highly doubt it ever does? Nate sat out the prime of his career waiting on a "what -it" scenario.

I'm guessing he is no Warren Buffet and has pissed through the money he made on the first 2 Connor fights. So. he ends up old and broke because of his inactivity during his prime.

Does not sound very smart.

Yup, especially now that WME's around. Have you seen the cards recently? No top fighters are fighting right now guys that used to be homeless like Pat Cummins are starring on UFC road to the octagon because god knows hes fine with UFC's peanuts. Yesterday's main event Ponz told the crowd he was living in a tent before the UFC. They are now catering to the guys who literally come from such shitty backgrounds they are happy to fight for any half decent wage and are thrilled to do so. Yesterday's card was the worst I've ever seen on paper. Where are all the fighters at? Why should Nate be any different? If he loses one fight against anyone other than Conor, he loses his second lottery ticket. MAKES NO SENSE.

? The diaz brothers are pathologically unafraid of fighting anyone. They have proved it over and over again over the years.

The issue here is Nate got two huge pay days and he now feels that he deserves similar paydays going forward.

Who wouldn't want to have big fights and big paydays rather than a bunch of 50k fights? Nate can likely beat most of the top 15 at lightweight but most of those fights are not money fights. nate is a draw but there has to be an equal draw on the other side.

Nate vs. Gaedjthe or Alvarez both would have been great fights but Gaedjthe is out to coach TUF and so is Eddie....

True..............but the flaw in that thought process is why not become the money fighter???????

Do that and all your fights can be money fights. In the end they will have left millions on the table.

Lol Warren Buffet would evaluate Nate's risk vs reward and tell him he's making the obvious and smart financial move. Why risk 3 million for 80,000 when he openly makes fun of rankings and belts. One Conor fight = over 30 regular UFC fights. The shittier the cards get the dumber Sherdog becomes.

Nate legit has brain damage, and thats why he's not fighting

Well duh. He's never been top 5 really. McTapper fans make him seem better than he is and huge size wise, because he Shit on Conor.

He has a win over the champ champ with his last fight being a very close decision against the champ champ. I doubt he's scared of anyone else in the division.

There is a growing number of Nate's fans who seem happy to see him wait rather than fight... so weird.

Or he just doesn't give a shit.

Conor owes him one.
