Nate has declined over 5 fights now, should he be cut like rodriguez?

absolutely. They should all be cut when they give an excuse not to fight someone. That goes over real good in real life job telling your boss nah find something easier for me

Well if it was one rule for all then yes he should. We all know that isn't the case though. The UFC would never cut either Diaz, no matter how many fights they decline. Yair is some relatively unknown hype job, the Diaz bros are popular fan favourites and known names.

In the end we will have a Brazzer PPV with Dana sucking Conor's balls dry

They should but bad for business. Nates a journeyman and can lose to anyone at the top 10 so he's relying on Conor to come back and bless him again.

Nate went 7 years fighting 3 times a year against any comers so I would say he has earned some wiggle room .

Why cut anybody? It's not like they cost anything by being inactive. Better to hope they'll fight eventually than to get rid of any chance of them fighting in the future lol

The fact they haven't cut him speaks volumes. He's clearly a big draw and the ufc are scared to death of someone else cashing in.

The UFC isn't going to cut money.

Nate is big bills. Yair was pennies.

Most people at real jobs are getting paid hourly or salary

If Nate doesnt fight he isnt making money. Horrible comparison

Actually, yes.

He’s a joke, and deserves to be cut. If he’s not honourable enough to officially retire.

But ppl like McGregor, and the Diaz’ have lifetime memberships in the UFC. Like SD, and their platinum accounts.

So they are entitled to a two four of Modelo, a hot dog brander. And a free, and undeserved top ten ranking in the division of their choice for perpetuity.

It’s a pretty slick trade-off.

Nate would be thrilled to be a free agent.

The UFC would never cut him unless they were forced to.

Unlike Yair, Nate is effectively retired but willing to book marquee money fights if the offer is good. If they would like him to come out of retirement, they need to open the check book.

Yair getting cut seems brash but makes sense if he's refusing to book fights as a young prospect in his 20's. Go get experience at a lower level and build yourself up to compete in the UFC.
