Yet another nutcase who fell through the cracks in the laws that should have kept him from ever having guns. Heads should roll on this one. Why did they give the guns back. The 2016 craziness should have revoked his right to own firearms. Why did they confiscate them then give them back to his father? There should have been some condition that the father keep them in a gun safe. If he gave them back to his son, he has opened himself up for lawsuits. Looks like the family owns a crane rental business so they have money.
When the background checks started I said they should set up a license to own guns instead. That license could be revoked with mental illness or criminal activity so they can't purchase firearms.
