My son has major surgery tomorrow.

I can only imagine.

Not sure if I mentioned before but my wife and I also welcomed twins this past summer. Identical boys born on June 25th. There was a minor complication with twin B but I’ll say that the hospital staff were absolutely incredible. I can only assume the level of care out in the GTA is similar. I’m sure your boy is in good hands. He’s obviously thriving well, chubbing out at 12 lbs.

Praying for a quick recovery so that you can finally have him at home.

Congrats on the twins Sonny

From one dad to another, I wish your son best tomorrow and speedy recovery.

Best of luck to your son @Jim, wishing the best.

I managed to post a few pics. Here he is. Surgery scheduled at 7:30am tomorrow 49C46C71-BBBD-4716-91F8-5FE84074B16B.jpeg3BBFF3B2-9B55-4FE5-9C64-1555B6AF64F4.jpeg

He has pure esophageal atresia. His case is about 1 in 100,000. The medical team is ready to go. Tomorrow at 8am the longest day of my life begins.

Jim, I know you saw how it turned out! The whole world saw!!!

I've chimed in on this topic a few times but here's the latest update.

My youngest son (he's a twin) who's been in the hospital since his birth May 22nd, is having major surgery tomorrow to correct and repair his esophagus.

I'm ready. The emotions I feel right now are like a hybrid of euphoria/anxiety/happiness/worry all in one big pile of optimistic but guarded hope.

The procedure is 8-12 hours long. I'm hoping to give everyone a positive update. I attempted to upload a picture but every single time I do a note pops up that the file is too large. It's a single picture lol

Other than this he is very healthy and alert. He's grown from under 4lbs to a healthy chubby 12 lbs.

Tomorrow is the most important day of my life.

@Cajun @Lubaolong @Tonycpa @HulkonViagra and any others I missed.

Prayed for your son and family when I saw this and will continue on. Cheers bud and look forward to a good report.

good luck, hope everything turns out well

He'll be fine, i've had esophagus surgery before. That's where they snip your balls so you can't have kids right?

All the best for the little guy, you, and the rest of the family. Godspeed.

Good luck, and best wishes.
