I am familiar with it just due to its effect on wildlife and other issues pertaining to the outdoors. However, I am not a science major, and I haven't done a fair amount of research regarding climate change from a hollistic perspective, at least not recently.

Talking to my girlfriends brother surprised me because I wasn't aware that formally educated people were still divided on the subject (that sounds ostentatious but it's not meant that way). I thought the general consensus had been established and we were strictly discussing preventative/corrective measures at this point.

I know many of you are astute in the subject so I figured I would put this out there and see if you guys could give me some concise scenarios/evidence that depict climate change and would be fairly easy to bring up in dialogue with him or other people that I speak to. It does not have to be exclusive from wildlife or nature because I am still looking to learn :)

Thank you all in advance

Tell him to summarize the current consensus thinking in the scientific community regarding climate change.
Ask for specifics and watch him flop around like a fish out of water that doesn't know what it's talking about

The climate change agenda is BS because it is trying to be used by globalist politicians to take money away from the American taxpayer and it will drive up the cost of energy. And that hurts poor people the most who are just trying to put food on the table.

the science is definitely not settled

Man-made climate change is agreed upon, it's just a question of degrees.
If you're a captain of industry, the climate can hang until the last minute. If you're a climate scientist, it should come first.
Everyone else falls in between

If you are new to the war room @legkicktko , rip isn't sure yet on whether flat earth is true or not. He is far more certain of our direction when it comes to climate change though.

You should put a warning like that in your sig or make a sticky thread, just so you can warn all the new posters about me.

Its all a conspiracy by the illuminati lizardmen, good thing we have these fossil fuel lobbies to fight back against this reptile subversion.

He should watch Neil de Tyson and Sam harris videos, that's really the best way to become educated in science

personally, i watched all their videos and now I'm basically a scientist myself, it's crazy

I don't think there is any debate about climate change, it's getting warmer. The argument is whether it is human caused or a natural process.

I think a lot of the reason people deny "Climate Change" is because as soon as they admit it, here comes the moronic Socialist environmentalist do-gooders with a slew of new taxes, regulations, restrictions that just makes everyone miserable and most likely doesn't solve a damn thing. It's the leftist desire to socially engineer society to "fix things" only to make it worse.

Case in point. Ontario, Canada's energy fiasco for the past decade.

stereotypical response from the uneducated who are unable to form opinions based on their own research on the arguments from both sides, you shouldnt even be here commenting because you know nothing on the topic

It's so bizarre that in the US, climate change and environment issues are now considered Marxist/Jewish/globalist conspiracy.
That some serious delusion right there. And those people call themselves nationalists. I am just glad the Fuehrer is not alive to witness this disgrace.

Environment protection is homeland protection. According to the greatest anti-Marxist/Jewish/globalist ever.
But yet here we are. Destroying our homelands because of politicians and special interest groups. That are backed by fossil fuel companies.
Wenn das der Führer wüßte.

Shame some can't reach conclusions without the assist.
I tend to discount "You shouldn't take what so and so says seriously" warnings.

Thanks OP. I think it's pathetic.
More to the topic, it hardly matters, here. Here, we're just Sherbros with differing opinions on something that won't end up mattering much to either of us because if you're right, nothing bad happens. If I'm right, nothing bad happens until after we're dead.

It speaks volumes that you couldn't imagine an educated person believing in something that you've been indoctrinated in and yet you know nothing about the topic and have to ask a message board to give you ammunition.

I was unaware that you had to have some type of degree to post here.

I've formed my own opinions from listening to both sides.

Well just put me on ignore or report me.
