My computer isn't recognizing CD information automatically

I have an Asus RoG, less than a year and a half old.

When I pop a CD in to rip it into digital, windows media player isn't recognizing the CD info. Unknown artist, Unknown track.

I have gone into the setting and made sure that the boxes are checks for connecting to the internet and downloading updated info, etc, but nothing seems to help.

Any ideas?

Make sure your win media player is patched and up to date. Same with windows os.
