but the so called progressive wing of the democrats have been the only ones calling for money out of politics , the root of all this
because they are bound up in so called sjw causes they dont appeal to the average midwestern swing state voter who thinks gays being allowed to marry is as big an issue as rampant corruption
both parties engage in tit for tat identity politics, you need a third party to break the deadlock.
i dont think libertarians are the answer
I cannot disagree, although I think it will take another one or two election cycles for that third party to really catch on and be viable in a presidential election. The most difficult part actually will be to get that third part of the start filling up spots in the House of Representatives and the Senate, but that is definitely the doctor's order.
