Musicians of Mayberry, what songs are you currently learning and on what instrument?

Teen town, nice. I remember playing that in HS Jazz band. Jaco was so amazing-RIP.

I own a music education business, but also work as a pro drummer...mainly doing cover work, so I'm ALWAYS learning songs, or relearning songs, usually any current top 40 hit.

Currently though I'm learning a wack of Prince tunes, and Soundgarden songs...both for tribute acts. Fun stuff! Matt Cameron has some nifty drum parts, and Prince's music is super fun to play.

I'm learning Sound and Vision by Bowie. I know the basic chord structure. It's the famous lead parts that are giving me trouble, probably because I'm playing acoustic instead of electric. Anyway, I stumbled across this guy on YT earlier.



My first thought was he looks like a Brownsville housewife, but I ended up watching a couple of his vids and he's a cool guy
