Wlad would struggle to cut off the ring or have a high enough workrate to take it on points. Post Manilla Ali would take a beating, but any version of Ali that we saw leading up to and including the one we saw in Zaire beats Wlad on points. Wlad's size and jab would make it competitive, but he'd really struggle to set his feet and get his offense off against a prime Ali.

Ali could bend the rules with the best of them and headhunted. He also has a massively underrated chin.
