Does anyone know of fight shorts that sit a few inches above the knee, akin to Muay Thai trunks? Every pair I've come across thus far sit right around the knee.

Kaizen and Clinch Gear make shorts that rest above the knee.

Padilla and Sons announced that they are releasing new shorts next year and judging by the pictures, they will rest above the knee. I plan on picking up a pair.

Some of Cageside MMA's shorts are shorter than their blank shorts (Night Hawk; 19" outseam vs 22" of the blanks.)

I really like that Clinch Gear shorts aren't overly long. Jaco are supposed to run pretty short.

i have a pair of jaco's , they site just above my knee, i love wearing them for muay thai class

I've heard a lot of mixed reviews on the Jaco's -- I was considering picking some of these up...I'm essentially looking for a good short that will be good for both Muay Thai and No-Gi BJJ, as you said.

I've seen a lot of talk about the sizing...do you have yours one size up? I wear a 38 in jeans (and am just slightly under 6'), think a 40 would best suit me in these?
