Benicia, CA – Geoff Quares, the highly respected and long-time promoter of Muay Thai events, today announced that TRIUMPHANT is bringing professional full rules Muay Thai to UFC FIGHT PASSÒ starting in December 2017 and continuing on in 2018.

It's IOC recognized or whatever. Doesn't mean it'll actually be in the Olympics. Quick googling didn't seem to come up with there having been any decision made so far of it actually being in.

Savate wants to be in too and they'd have a nice pitch in having been a demonstration sport in the Paris Olympics 1924 and then a 100 years later there's Olympics in Paris again. What better than to demo Savate the same 100 years later.

Would they (potentially) want to have such similar kickfighting sports in succession?
