Whatever. They'll never top Nirvana or AiC's performances.
I really like this one too.
song don't start till 1:26
I'd like to see the Pixies , Silver sun pickups, modest mouse , the National
Others have poster some good ones as well
Most likely it will be pop crap
....... going to go listen to Nirvana unplugged now
Unplugged from ny by nirvana is one of my favorite albums ever.
I look forward to MTV revising this, but I'm prepared to be disappointed.
Alicia Keys could do an unplugged as well.
If Destinys Child got back together they could have a good set as well.
This exactly. I mean, are there any bands or musicians who are not simply one bit wonders anymore? Are they going to teach the guys from Imagine Dragons how to play instruments in a month and have them perform? It just seems like a terrible idea in today's music climate.
LOL mother looks younger than the daughter.
you mean Stone Sour?
I'd like to see Tedeschi Trucks Band or Gov't Mule plus like others said The Roots, Jack White, or Gary Clark Jr shit even Beyoncé doing covers from Etta James, Aretha Franklin, and Koko Taylor.
Tedeschi Trucks Band is incredible
I can't even.... Just... Wow.
= Less good most of the time. Sorry, but true.
someone could give a great performance and die shortly after.
No one wants to top nirvana and AiC's performances is more like it
Mtv is gonna have to do a hell of a lot more than this for me to ever give the network the time of day again.
Oh kewl can't wait to hear Katy Perry sing "Roar" with a string section
I can see it now... "Katy Perry: Unplugged."
I'm not holding my breath.
MTV sold out a long time ago and I doubt they are capable of redemption because they are too far gone at this point.
Can't even remember the last time I actually changed the channel to MTV.
Didn't they announce this a few years back then have Miley Cyrus do it?
Where are they going to find a modern act who actually can play live and not just lip synch to prerecorded autotuned tracks?
