Good call with Memoirs of an Invisible Man. It was surprisingly good. Kind of like the last hurrah for John Carpenter and Chevy Chase as a leading man. Sam Neill was excellent.

Every time I visit a movie thread I hear about and then buy a bunch of dvds immediately afterwards.

I think I have a large collection of dvds at about a 1000 now but I never heard of the majority of stuff mentioned here. Sherdog has some hardcore movie buffs.

Black Rain is Ridley Scott's hidden gem. Great film. And Stone Cold is damn solid for being led by a football player. One of Lance Henriksen's all-time best performances. And Last Action Hero was way ahead of its time. Solid list.

I feel like we've done this before but still...

Godfather Part III. It gets slammed because it lives in the shadow of the two greatest films of all time, but on its own its a pretty decent mob film. I had the unique experience of seeing it before I saw the first two Godfather films, so I didn't fully comprehend all of its flaws at the time.

Honorable mentions:
Ghostbusters II
Die Hard II
Rocky V
