That French guy that wanted to prove French are not pussies... Only to quit on the stool.
lol Thread brought back some funny memories.
My favourite was when someone did an upper decker, then there was this one guy who freaked out an was like "WHO SHIT IN MY TOILET DAWG?" lol
Tommy Speer anyone?
They had to beat him off.
Hell yeah i remember him was rooting for him to win. Reminded me of Michael bisking. Also remember cameron dollard or jason dent from that season
Wait wait no hes a movie star now
lol, I remember that. Dana White trying his best to not indulge on it at the post-fight interview was gold.
Martin stapleton, was bamma lightweight champ, fighting in june iirc coming off a loss.
trains out of sbg manchester mate, i think a coupe of my brothers know him pretty well, (i have 5) lol.
But a couple have trained at SBG, after big brother (me) took them to gracie barra northwest back in the day..i miss lucio.
Which Gracie barra? I only realised the other day there's one 30 seconds from my house in Walkden haha
The one i trained at was in eccles, led by ex world champ lucio lagarto, ala, my avatar.
it then moved to preston, then lucio joined rogers academy in london.
but yes there one in little hulton.
and warrington and i think chester.
thats the barra side of it, and theres gracie academy in stalybridge, that ive rolled at too, but its a different way of learning GJJ its the rener gracie method and some don't agree with it..
All good from my point of view..
Jason Von Flue hasn't faded into obscurity. He has a choke named for him, for crying out loud! He'll live on in MMA culture forever...
his stand up was quality, great to watch
The first TUF fighter they subtitled when he was speaking (mainly to Bisping) and they were the fist 2 English fighters on the show who were speaking English.
As an Englishman I found it vaguely insulting.
Black dude with a mohawk who had an AMAZING fight in the finale with War Machine. Name escapes me though. That fight would have gone down in history as one of the best had it not been overshadowed by the Guida/Huerta fight later on the card. Jared Rollins or something like that.
Yep I think that was his name. I remember him as "J-Roc" lol
Jo yager comes to mind also thenguy who was smoking cigs who was that again?
And i take it we arent counting guys like junie browning, how about sugar shame nelson
Whatever happened to Thanh Le? UFC should sign him up to fight a bunch of nongrapplers
What about super street fighter (claimed to have been in 300-400 street fights) Marlon Sims.
