Most Beloved Completely Average Fighter

Shogun. Though he's not an elite fighter, I enjoy his fights knowing they will generally end in a finish one way or another.

The Diaz bros hands down!

Absolutely average W-L in the UFC, yet are massive in popularity. Good but not great, yet exciting fighters.

khabib

unless he can prove his worth by frequently fighting and beating top guys, his peak has been a years pre champ rda and michael johnson... not bad but nowhere near being worth the pedestal some hold him on

These two dudes were entirely average. The UFC's equivalent of a "jobber" they would step in at the last moment to save a card on short notice.

Most of the time they would lose and sometimes get a beating but they were an asset to the UFC and could hold their own(on occasions). Huge respect.

No one in the top10 is 'average'.

To be the top10 in the world in any sport is elite as fuck.

You guys have seriously high standards, especially the dumbasses name-dropping former champions

I feel your pain. That's sherdoggers for ya.

Newsflash: if someone was a champion or a top contender, they can't be considered an average fighter. The dictionary just doesn't work like that, and logic won't tolerate it.
