Modern Underground Country

Let this be the thread for all of the modern era, underground country. Underground country, also known as Ameripolitan music is the real successor to country music. It is the opposite of mainstream, radio friendly country. The scope of the music can be outlaw country, bluegrass, psychobilly, and etc. Examples include Dale Watson, Whitey Morgan, Aaron Watson, Wade Bowen, Unknown Hinson, and like the sort.

I've been lucky enough to see Whitey Morgan a few times, Cody Jinks, Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen, Hank 3 and a bunch of other great artists.

This Saturday I am going to see Slim Cessna's Auto Club who I've been waiting to see for a bit now.
