Yet everyone knocks MM for not fighting great fighters. No one Silva has faced is as skilled all around as guys like Dodson, Benevidez or creepy. Not Dan, Bisping,Lutter, Leites, Okami, Leben, or Maia. Yet these same people Knock MM for not fighting great fighters.

Silva fought Giants compared to MM. I say Giants > Midgets no matter the skill.

If you really think McCall is better than Hendo, you might be suffering from CTE symtpoms.

Prime Silva and Today's DJ are 5-10 years apart from each other so of course, the fighters DJ fights should be more evolved than the ones Silva fought.

Regardless, Silva went up in weight to beat top 5 Griffin.

DJ's too much of a pussy to fight someone in his own weight class.

LOL. You think Belfort is as skilled as Benevidez, Creepy and Dodson? The same Belfort who folds to wrestlers? Dont make me laugh dude.

You know Ian gave Dodson the best fight of his career. DJ vs Ian 1 was a close fight. How is Dan a more skilled fighter than Creepy? I dont see it.

Creepy is 2-3 in the UFC and only beat terrible fighters.

Dodson is good but not nearly as good as you think he is.

Benvidez a fantastic win but not better than 2 weight class champ Hendo or TRT Vitor.

Well actaully I'd say Cruz gave MM the best fight of his career. MM had a bad weight cut and thats why he gassed. MM dominated him in the next fight. Ian on his best night could only draw with MM at his worst. Never mind the fact MM has improved since then.

Dan has better wrestling and striking. Multiple time major org world champ, wins over many elite fighters. Ian loses to elite fighters.

He lost to Miguel Torres too. One of the worst decisions that's never talked about

Lets be real the only reason you think that guys like Vitor and Dan are better than Dodson and Creepy is because they have a much much bigger name. Dodson and creepy are both very good in all aspect of MMA. Vitor folds vs wrestlers and Dan is slow, limited striking and for an Olympic wrestler he was never known to be an elite MMA wrestler.

Not trolling. I do feel that MM has fought better fighters than Silva.

Benavidez definitely has way less holes and is much harder to beat then Vitor.
In 29 fights only Cruz and DJ have figured it out.

Vitor was 19-9 when Anderson beat him (67% win ratio).

You said Ian is only 2-3 in his last fight but look at who he has lost to, its not like he is losing to mediocre fighters. He lost to Benevidez, MM and Lineker. These are the top guys of their division.

I would agree Dan has better wrestling but not better striking.

They both beat good fighters in multiple divisions.

Anderson beat more experienced legends though, only because DJ's weight class is newer. Flyweight opened up only 5 years ago.

There were already legendary fighters that had long established themselves like Hendo and Vitor and both were finished by Anderson Silva. Franklin was also a great win. He also went up to LHW amd beat Irvin and Forrest.

It is no disrespect to DJ because he is a great fighter and he is the GOAT of his weight class but don't you dare tell me his competition was better than TRT Hendo.

As a matter of fact, a lot of Anderson's opponents were on PEDs when he fought them.

Dan knocked out Wand, Bisping, Fedor, Shogun and Bustamante. You can try and argue all you want Ian is a better striker, Dans striking has proven FAR more effective.

You make a fair point saying he lost to top guys, but he didnt even beat middle of the pack guys. Two decisions against the very bottom of the barrel UFC guys.

Who is McCalls best win? Formiga?
